I believe in transparency around cost.

End of life brings expenses at every income level. They pile up right alongside grief, right as your capacity to manage them starts to shrink. The clear-headed, practical thinking you'd normally lean on for decisions like this isn't always available when you need it most. Grief takes up a lot of room. It can crowd out the energy needed to make calls, compare rates, and track down information.

So I'm putting my pricing here, plainly, to make that part easier.

I don't offer a sliding scale. Asking someone to prove financial need during this time doesn't sit right with me. Instead, as I build my practice, I'm setting rates below the area average — a choice that also helps sustain the volunteer hospice work I do alongside my private practice.

If cost is still a barrier, reach out. I'm a steady presence, without judgment, and open to conversations about payment plans and what might work for your situation.

Rate: $75/hour

  • For those living with a prognosis, or who have recently transferred to hospice
    Minimum 4 sessions, 2-3 hours per session — $900

    What's Included

    • Regular visits, tailored to your pace and needs

    • Companionship and respite for family and caregivers

    • Space to talk through what end of life might look like for you

    • Support developing advance directives and documenting your wishes

    • Help navigating hard conversations with family

    • Education on what to expect as health progresses

    • Anticipatory grief support

    • Personalized guided meditation

    Ways to Go Deeper

    • Legacy Work — Helping you create something lasting: an ethical will, a letter for someone you love, a recorded story, a memory box, a project that reflects who you are.

    • Living Tribute Planning — Designing a gathering, ritual, or celebration while you're still here to be part of it.

    • Deeper Family Facilitation — Ongoing support through complex or difficult family dynamics as decisions get made.

  • For those in the eleventh hour — often hired by family or circle of care when the dying person can no longer speak for themselves
    Minimum 3 hours per day — $225, additional hours billed at end of shift

    What's Included

    • Vigil presence during the final hours or days

    • Companionship and respite for family and caregivers

    • Guidance on what to expect as active dying progresses

    • Support creating a calm, meaningful atmosphere in the room

    • Bedside rituals, blessings, or moments of reflection

    • Presence immediately after death

    • Daily Vigil Support — Extended or overnight presence for families who need continuous support through an unpredictable timeline.

    • Family Education — Ongoing guidance for family members as changes happen, so they understand what they're witnessing.

    • After-Death Reprocessing — Space to process what happened, once the immediacy of the moment has passed.

  • For those thinking about the future before it's urgent.
    Minimum 4 sessions, 2-3 hours per session — $900

    • Legacy Work — Starting the process of capturing your story, values, or a project that matters to you, while there's no pressure of time.

    • Vigil & Ceremony Preferences — Thinking through what you'd want for your own vigil, funeral, or celebration of life, and documenting those wishes.

    • Family Facilitation — Bringing loved ones into the conversation early, so everyone understands your wishes before a crisis forces the discussion.

Policies

  • Payment due at signing of client agreement

  • Package hours do not expire

  • Travel included in package price (subject to change)

  • Overnight support billed at the same hourly rate

  • Support offered in person or virtually, at the same rate.

    • In the Final Hours is primarily in-person; virtual support in this package is limited to family education and guidance, not a substitute for vigil presence.

  • A credit card is kept on file for billing beyond the package minimum, authorized at the signing of Client Agreement
